California drivers ed makes sure that after you have your learners permit, you'll be ready to take in-car driving lessons.

 

Most of our driving instructors have more than 15 years of driving experience, and we're experts on traffic safety. Our drivers ed course covers the knowledge you need to prevent and handle dangerous situations when you get behind the wheel.

Getting Provisional License
  • Be 16 years old

  • Have held your California instruction permit for a minimum of six months

  • Have completed driver education

  • Have completed 6 hours of professional driver training. Drive with us!

  • Have completed 50 hours of practice with an adult 25 of age years or older. At least 10 of the 50 hours must have been done at night.

 Provisional License Restrictions
You must be accompanied and supervised by a licensed parent, guardian or other licensed driver 25 years of age or older or a licensed or certified driving instructor when you:
  • Transport passengers under 20 years of age at any time, for the first 12 months.
  • Drive between 11 pm and 5 am for the first 12 months.
  • Exceptions to Restrictions.
